Hi, I'm Marie, the face behind Income for Creatives. Ever since I was little I loved everything creative. That hasn't changed until today: I illustrate, animate, design patterns and enjoy hand lettering. Over the last years I've developed my own style: my illustrations are always colorful, quirky & with a retro touch.

 

My friends say my illustrations are like me: they just make everyone happy.

I am married to the best man ever - Marco, my great love. When our little son Nils was born in 2015, our world was turned upside down. The little whirlwind enriches our everyday life like confetti a party. When I need time off, I retreat and get creative.

Then in 2022 I had the idea to teach illustration. That's when I came across Skillshare and Udemy. Both platforms are ideal for me, Skillshare because of its creative approach and Udemy because of its huge reach. My background in marketing in both small start-ups and large IT tech companies helps me a lot with my new project as well.

 

The first course I launched teaches you illustrating on the iPad Pro in Procreate. Learn to draw cute animals and have fun doing it!

My goal is to offer courses that provide passive income to creatives. I don't see this as a get rich quick scheme, but as a sustainable way for creatives to build up a little extra cash on the side.

I have also recently been accepted into the Canva Creator Program. Canva is a platform that allows you to easily create great designs for everything from social media templates like Instagram posts, reels etc to branding materials like business cards, flyers, letterheads to presentations and videos. The sky is the limit. I use Canva myself and am a huge fan.

 

As a Canva template creator I specialize in designing small collections for Canva. Cohesive brandings are key for a professional appearance and my templates help you to design one in the shortest time possible.
